Skiing

Skifahren im Gsiesertal, Schlepplift

There are two T-bar lifts leading to easy runs close to our apartments, which are perfect if you have children or are a beginner on the slopes. It takes about 30 minutes by car to reach the famous Kronplatz and Sexten Dolomites ski areas. You can also use the bus that stops right outside our door!

Cross-country skiing

Langläufer im Gsiesertal auf der Loipe

On your skis, get set, go! Here in Gsiesertal, you can easily tackle a cross-country skiing marathon because over 42 kilometres of cross-country trails await you. The best part? The start of the trail is only a few metres away from your holiday apartment. A special highlight of the year is the ‘Gsiesertal Lauf’, which is held on the third weekend in February. This is the largest cross-country skiing event in South Tyrol. Sign up and take part this year!

Tobogganing

Rodelpartie im Gsiesertal, Spass für die ganze Familie
For some, what brings the most joy is tobogganing. For example, our twins, Rosa and Anni, LOVE it! It’s even better if you hike up to one of the several open huts and enjoy some hearty food (and warm your fingers and toes) and then toboggan back down into the valley. Many of the huts are open in winter – so you can combine a leisurely winter hike and South Tyrolean culinary delights with an exuberant and exhilarating toboggan ride.

Winter hiking & snowshoeing

Schneeschuhwandern im Gsiesertal
Is trekking through a winter wonderland right up your alley? Then strap on your snowshoes and get going! Explore the untouched and silent natural landscape at your own pace, without any stress. Even without snowshoes, hiking through the snow-covered Gsiesertal valley is simply magnificent – all you need are sturdy shoes. Have fun!
Nothing brings us closer than shared laughter.
